As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will play a crucial role in delivering immediate medical attention to patients in critical situations. Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients Assess and triage patients effectively in a fast-paced environment Perform medical procedures as needed for emergency cases Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient care Maintain accurate and thorough patient records Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and health management Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department Stay current with best practices and advancements in emergency medicine

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida Completion of residency in Emergency Medicine Experience working in emergency care settings preferred Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Schedule: 12-hour day, night, or weekend shifts

Daily Volume: ~57 patients

Annual Volume: 9,000 patients

11 ER bays, including a fully equipped trauma bay

Support Staff: APPs

EMR: Meditech P-doc

Dictation: M-Modal

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
