Description

This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical environment where your skills and expertise can make a significant difference in patient care.

As a Locum MD/DO in Emergency Medicine, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality medical services to patients in urgent need. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. This position not only allows you to utilize your medical knowledge but also offers the chance to contribute to a supportive and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients Perform thorough patient assessments and diagnosis Implement appropriate treatment plans in a timely manner Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in emergency settings Document patient information accurately and efficiently Maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations Participate in continuous medical education and training Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active medical license in the state of practice Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency program Experience in an emergency department setting is preferred Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Commitment to providing patient-centered care

Schedule: 7p-7a

Level III trauma

Annual Volume: 55,000 patients

32 ED beds

Will not respond to codes

Support Staff: APPs

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
