This contract position offers a unique opportunity for medical professionals to provide exceptional eye care services while enjoying flexibility in their work schedule.

As a Locum MD in Ophthalmology, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care, diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, and performing surgical procedures as necessary. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of enhancing patients' quality of life through effective ophthalmic interventions.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assessments Diagnose and treat a variety of ocular conditions and diseases Perform surgical procedures as required, including cataract surgery Prescribe medications and recommend treatments for eye-related issues Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Provide patient education regarding eye health and preventative measures Stay updated on the latest advancements in ophthalmology

Requirements

MD degree from an accredited medical school Current medical license to practice in the state of Browning Specialization in Ophthalmology Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred Strong diagnostic and surgical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Patient Volume: 12 per day

Must be board-certified
