As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality surgical services, particularly in orthopedic and trauma cases. Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments Perform orthopedic and trauma surgeries as needed Develop and implement treatment plans for patients Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Participate in medical staff meetings and case discussions Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Provide patient education and support to promote recovery
Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution Valid medical license to practice in the state of operation Experience in orthopedic surgery and trauma surgery Strong surgical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient-centered care and ethics Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Level III trauma
Schedule: Thursday 5p-Monday 7a
100% trauma cases, general orthopedic surgery skills required
Support Staff: APPs
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
