Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Ob/Gyn

This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the medical practice community while providing essential care to our patients.

As a Locum MD in Ob/Gyn, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive women's health services, including prenatal care, delivery, and gynecological examinations. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care during your tenure.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients Conduct routine examinations and prenatal check-ups Manage labor and delivery processes Perform surgical procedures as needed Consult and collaborate with other medical staff Educate patients on health maintenance and preventive care Maintain accurate and timely medical records Stay updated on the latest advancements in Ob/Gyn practices

Requirements

MD degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license to practice in the state Experience in obstetrics and gynecology (Associate level) Strong clinical skills and a patient-focused approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Schedule: 24-hour call coverage

Setting: Inpatient

Daily Volume: 1-3 inpatients, 1-3 deliveries, 2-4 NST/observations

Daily rounding required

Must be comfortable with vaginal deliveries and c-sections

Will provide ED consultations as needed

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
