Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in critical condition Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans Conduct thorough assessments and monitor patient progress Administer medications and treatments as required Communicate effectively with patients and their families Participate in emergency response and critical care procedures Document patient information accurately and timely Stay current with advancements in critical care medicine

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Active medical license to practice in the state of Nevada Experience in critical care or intensive care unit settings Strong clinical skills and the ability to work under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Schedule: 6a-6p, 7 on/7 off

Setting: Closed ICU

Shifts available at multiple hospitals

Patient Census: 18-24 at one facility, 10-12 at the other facility

Duties: Rounding, new consults, admissions, and procedures

Required Procedures: Intubations, CVC, arterial lines, chest tube placement, paracentesis, and lumbar punctures

Tracheostomy placement and ECMO management are preferred, but not required

Support Staff: Full ICU team, residents

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
