The Advanced Practice Provider will manage a caseload of inpatient leukemia patients by performing assessments, diagnosing illnesses, and initiating medical treatments. They will also conduct rounds, place orders, perform procedures, and collaborate with the oncology team to execute patient care plans.
Candidates must hold a Master's of Science in Nursing or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program, along with relevant state licensure and certifications. At least one year of inpatient experience and previous oncology experience are preferred.

The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for comprehensive direct patient care management and will manage a caseload of patients by exercising autonomous decision making in the assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of delegated medical treatments. The APP will provide healthcare and patient services that may include educational, research, and clinical nursing specialist support, as well as complete administrative activities under the direction and supervision of the Director/leadership. The APP has acquired the knowledge, skills, and judgment necessary to assist the physician through organized instruction and supervised practice.
