Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans while interpreting results to provide accurate diagnoses. Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and maintain detailed patient records to ensure high-quality care.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree with an active medical license in Florida and completion of a Radiology residency. Board certification or eligibility is required, along with proficiency in imaging modalities and clinical systems.
This on-site, contract position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care while working within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using imaging techniques. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and assist in the development of innovative treatment plans.
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans Interpret and analyze imaging results to provide accurate diagnoses Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and treatment options Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all imaging practices Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions Stay updated with advancements in radiology technology and practices Provide high-quality patient care and support throughout the diagnostic process
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Active medical license to practice in the state of Florida Completion of residency training in Radiology Strong knowledge of imaging modalities and techniques Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred
Flexible Schedule: Night shifts (11p-7a) or day shifts (between 7a-6p)
Case Volume: 7-8 RVUs per shift
Skillsets: General, body, or neuro
Diverse caseloads
Primarily outpatient reads, some inpatient reads
Some pediatric coverage at night
Systems: Philips, iSite, PowerScribe, Epic
Workstations provided
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
