The Medical Laboratory Technologist collects and analyzes patient samples including blood, tissue, and bodily fluids using manual and automated equipment. They are responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, documenting results, and identifying abnormal findings under the supervision of a pathologist or medical director.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and a clinical laboratory technology program certificate, with 3-5 years of relevant experience. A valid State of Florida technician license (MLT-ASCP, AMT, or AAB) in Hematology and Chemistry is mandatory.

In this role the Medical Laboratory Technician will perform the following job duties under the supervision of a licensed medical technologist, pathologist or Medical Director of a CLIA approved Laboratory: Use automated and manual equipment to examine and analyze cells, blood and bodily fluids. Collect and receive blood, tissue, urine and other body fluid samples from patients. Ensure samples are prepared, tested and resulted using manual or automated analyzers and computer system. Schedule FTE: 1.0 Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Days: Monday-Friday
