The Inpatient Phlebotomist is responsible for accurately collecting patient specimens and collaborating with nursing and laboratory staff. They also assist in training new team members and performing necessary clerical duties.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and completion of a formal phlebotomy training program. At least one year of phlebotomy experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Accurately collects specimens from patients with the appropriate sense of urgency, communicates effectively with nursing staff, collaborates with laboratory staff and leadership, assists in training new team members, performs clerical and miscellaneous duties as needed.
