The Clinical Laboratory Assistant is responsible for performing phlebotomy procedures and processing laboratory specimens. They also handle routine clerical duties and maintain laboratory equipment as needed.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess basic math and typing skills. Certification in Phlebotomy and prior laboratory experience are preferred.

Under the overall direction of the Laboratory Director and the Laboratory Medical Director, the Clinical Laboratory Assistant is responsible for the performance of phlebotomy procedures, processing of all lab specimens, routine clerical duties, and cleaning of laboratory equipment as necessary.
