The Occupational Therapist coordinates and supervises therapy services while implementing treatment programs for patients with physical disabilities or injuries. They are responsible for evaluating patient progress, maintaining care records, and collaborating with physicians and family members.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited occupational therapy program and hold a valid state license or registration. Membership in state and national occupational therapy associations is preferred.
