The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing the medication and psychotherapeutic needs of patients in an inpatient setting. They will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop treatment plans and ensure continuity of care through patient and family education.
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing and possess a valid NYS Registered Nurse Practitioner license with a psychiatry specialty. Expertise in psychopharmacology and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is highly desirable, along with current BLS and infection control certifications.

Responsible for the provision of assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and psychotherapeutic interventions in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Expertise in psychopharmacology, substance abuse, smoking cessation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a strong academic background are highly desirable.
