Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day including
lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains and floors.
Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms.
Maintain handrails to ensure they are clean and free of debris.
Clean and remove dust, dirt or food off walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures. towel bars, towel dispensers.
Empty trash cans and replace liners.
Sweep and mop floors.
Utilize proper safety measures when cleaning, including the use of caution signage and keeping supplies and chemicals out of reach of the residents.
Use supplies and equipment in a safe manner by following the user manual instructions.
Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment and storage areas in a safe, sanitary, clean and orderly manner.
Notify the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing immediately regarding resident safety issues or concerns.
Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies are needing replenished.
Excellent customer skills and positive attitude.
Excellent time-management skills.
Ability to work independently or with a team. Qualification Education and/or Experience Minimum requirement to perform the essential functions of this position is a High School Diploma or a GED.
