The Physical Therapist will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services, including patient evaluation and the development of individualized treatment plans. They will also coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.
Candidates must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program and possess at least two years of experience within the last three years. A valid, unrestricted U.S. state license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are also required.
Entry-level physical therapists must be graduates of a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education. Completion of professional coursework in the specialty area such as Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS).
Two years of experience within the last three years as a physical therapist.
Contract workers requiring licensure shall have and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted license specific to the position (with no limitations, stipulations or pending adverse actions) in one of the 50 US States and/or territories. Additional licenses held by a provider must be in good standing whether they are inactive, expired, or limit the provider’s practice to a military setting. The healthcare provider’s license(s) must remain current, valid, and unrestricted throughout the duration of the contract worker performance on the contract. NPI registration and the Contractor shall ensure this renewed/remain current throughout the performance on the contract.
Occupational Health: The contract worker shall be required to obtain documentation of required physical testing or a report of a physical examination. Tuberculosis Screening: The Contractor ensure contract workers shall be screened for tuberculosis (TB). In addition, contract worker will be screened prior to reporting for services at the place of performance for the following: N/A Health Requirements. The Contractor shall provide documentation certifying health requirements such as immunizations, annual vaccinations, and physical examination when required at the time of initial placement.
