The Occupational Therapist Assistant provides occupational therapy services to patients in their homes to restore physical ability according to a defined treatment plan. They also observe and report patient responses to treatment while instructing families and caregivers on therapy techniques.
Candidates must hold a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Idaho and be certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. A valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle are also required.
As the Occupational Therapist Assistant - Per Diem, you will be for providing occupational therapy to patients in their homes to restore them to their fullest physical ability.
Following all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care, to follow the treatment set only as defined by the supervising OT Following the plan of care, instructs and aids patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant and according to the state laws governing occupational therapy assistants Observes, records, and reports to the nurse supervisor and the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client

Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of Idaho Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
Preferred Qualification: Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
