The surgical assistant supports oral surgeons during procedures by maintaining a sterile environment and monitoring patient status. They are also responsible for documenting patient care, obtaining radiographs, and crafting detailed patient narratives.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess or be willing to obtain BLS certification. Strong teamwork, manual dexterity, and basic computer proficiency are required, while oral surgery experience and DAANCE certification are preferred.
