The General Surgeon will provide surgical services at Palmdale Regional Medical Center and participate in the surgical call rotation. The role involves working within an established, collegial surgery and neurosciences group to deliver high-quality patient care.

County, recently graded 'A' for patient safety by Leapfrog Group, provides high quality medical services to residents of the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding communities.

The hospital is assisting a surgical group in the community to recruit a BC/BE General Surgeon for a private practice opportunity to include taking GS call and providing surgical services at PRMC.

Opportunity highlights: Join an established, collegial surgery and neurosciences group Highly successful practice with strong reputation in the area and quality outcomes Position is based in the Palmdale area providing services at Palmdale RMC PRMC is a 184-bed hospital with 234 beds at build-out Over 500 robotic surgeries a year performed at the hospital PRMC is the first hospital in Los Angeles County to implement the da Vinci 5™ Robotic Surgery System Group provides income support and benefits Partnership track First year compensation $300,000 - $450,000 Call opportunity will generate strong first-year income Palmdale Regional Medical Center, a part of Southwest Healthcare, is licensed for 190 beds with planned build-out to 234.

The hospital is designated as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and offers a 35-bed Emergency Department.

PRMC features inpatient and outpatient surgical services in bariatric, colorectal, orthopedic, neurological, spine, ENT, vascular, plastic, and robotics, featuring a da Vinci Xi.

The hospital also offers medical and surgical oncology services in affiliation with City of Hope.

A wound care center with hyperbaric medicine and the recent addition of the Rehabilitation Institute each offer inpatient and outpatient services.

PRMC is owned and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), one of the nation's largest hospital and healthcare management companies.

Palmdale and the Antelope Valley offer affordable, suburban living with excellent schools and a wide variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options.

The area has a diverse and highly educated population of over 500,000, and enjoys proximity to north L.A.
