The Medical Assistant performs routine technical support services, including setting up exam rooms, checking in patients, and maintaining patient records. They are also responsible for obtaining vital signs, performing venipunctures, and conducting audiometry and vision testing.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred qualifications include certification as a Medical or Registered Medical Assistant, as well as phlebotomy and audiometry/vision training.
