The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for assisting residents with daily personal care tasks and providing companionship. They must also communicate professionally with residents, their families, and staff members.
Candidates are required to hold a caregiver certificate and have completed applicable training courses. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with compassion and an understanding of the aging process, are also necessary.
