The CNA will assist with medication administration, maintain resident medical records, and ensure medical equipment is functioning correctly. Additionally, the role involves transporting residents to appointments and organizing resident paperwork for nursing staff.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and a CNA certification. Applicants must also pass a drug screen and background check, and possess or obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
· Check Medication Administration Book (MAR) for missing initials and assist with transferring to “Review” folder · Watch Live Medication supervision pass once a week and record in the “Review” binder · Make/Reschedule/Maintain log of resident’s appointments and assist with transportation if needed · Assist nurse in medication disposal. · Track weekly weights of residents and documentation on the MAR each Monday · Check medical equipment daily to ensure correct operation (Ex. Batteries, B/P cuffs, etc) · Transport residents to appointments · Order medical supplies as needed · Maintain list of needed refills of medication needs · Assist nurse with list for doctor visits/telehealth appointments during the month · Organize and file resident’s paperwork in resident’s folders for nurse and Timas upload
The following are minimum requirements for each position at MSHN Enterprises LLC: 1. Must be 18 years of age or older 2. Valid Divers license or state ID 3. Successful completion of a drug screen 4. Background results within company standards (i.e. no assault, bodily harm, possession of weapons or drug charge) 5. CNA certification 6. Must have CPR & First aid or must complete MSHN CPR/first aid class within first thirty days of employment. Certification must be repeated every 2 years. 7. Good Communication Skills and Organization and Prioritization of Tasks. 8. Position is under in-direct supervision of Director of Nursing Assistant
