Location: Pineville, LA Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Direct Service Professional to provide essential direct care and support to individuals in our region. In this role, you will assist participants with activities of daily living (ADLs), promote independence, ensure safety and well-being, and deliver person-centered care under the supervision of nursing and program staff. This full-time weekday position offers consistent scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility/transfer support (using proper body mechanics and assistive devices as needed).

Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes in participant condition, and report concerns promptly to supervisory nursing staff.

Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and nutrition/hydration needs while promoting dignity and independence.

Support participants in community integration, skill-building activities, recreational programs, and socialization opportunities.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.

Follow individualized care plans, behavior support strategies, and any delegated nursing tasks within the scope of CNA practice.

Document care provided, incidents, and progress notes accurately and timely in accordance with agency policies and regulations.

Promote participant rights, dignity, respect, and choice in all interactions.

Participate in team meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives as required. Qualifications & Requirements

Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Louisiana (required; must be in good standing with no adverse findings).

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year of experience providing direct care in a healthcare, long-term care, or disability services setting (preferred).

Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).

Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required health screenings.

Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the worksite.

Strong communication, empathy, patience, and teamwork skills.

Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting/transferring (up to 50 lbs with assistance), standing/walking for extended periods, and bending/stooping. Preferred Skills

Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, elderly populations, or behavioral health needs.

Knowledge of person-centered planning and positive behavior supports.

Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
