The Polysomnographic Technician is responsible for collecting high-quality sleep study data and adjusting respiratory support devices for patients. The role also involves overnight monitoring and conducting EEGs to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
Candidates must have 1-3 years of experience in a sleep laboratory or related healthcare field. Required certifications include CPR and RPSGT, with ACLS preferred.
Nights, 3 - 12's
Under the supervision of a licensed physician, the Polysomnography Technician is responsible for collecting high-quality, artifact-free sleep study data, analyzing results, and adjusting respiratory support devices for patients with suspected sleep-related breathing disorders. This role primarily involves overnight monitoring and may include conducting EEGs in conjunction with sleep studies to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
