The Radiologic Technician performs diagnostic imaging studies including CT, Digital Radiography, and C-Arm procedures to produce high-quality images for interpretation. They are also responsible for maintaining a safe environment, documenting patient information in the EHR, and assisting in surgical or pain management procedures.
Candidates must have graduated from an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program and hold current R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) registration. A minimum of one year of experience in a surgical or hospital setting is required, along with current CPR certification.
Completes daily diagnostic imaging studies within the modalities of CT, Digital Radiography, and C-Arm to produce high quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Reports to: Manager, Diagnostic Imaging
$32.00 – 53.55 (hourly rate does not include overtime or bonuses which are not guaranteed)
Graduation from an ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology.
Current CPR certification; registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT)
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as technologist in a surgical or hospital setting with a strong working knowledge of Radiography. C-Arm experience a plus.
Environmental hazards such as chemicals, solvents, needles, needle containers, sharps, blood, body fluids, various infectious/communicable diseases, infectious medical waste, radiation, and/or radioactive materials and/or radioactive waste, proximity to moving mechanical parts. Protective clothing/equipment may be necessary.
