The Certified Medication Aide is responsible for administering medications, documenting treatments, and monitoring resident vital signs. They also assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
Candidates must hold current Kansas Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certifications, along with valid CPR certification. Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.

Who Are You? As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) on Second Shift, you are a calm, reliable presence who ensures the comfort and safety of residents during evening hours. You take pride in your attention to detail and your ability to provide quality care. Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with daily activities, including dressing, eating, and personal hygiene. Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight) and report any concerns. Properly set up, administer, and document medications following facility policies and state regulations. Maintain medication and treatment areas in a clean and orderly manner. Report medication refusals or adverse reactions to the supervising nurse. Provide supportive and respectful care, encouraging residents' independence while offering assistance as needed. Follow infection control procedures and ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to enhance the overall well-being of residents.
License/Certification: Must hold a current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Kansas Valid CPR certification required Experience: Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a healthcare setting preferred Skills: Strong attention to detail, especially with medication administration Ability to work independently and remain alert Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills Compassionate and professional approach to resident care Join Us and Elevate Every Day!
