The anesthesiologist will administer anesthesia for cardiac surgical procedures and monitor patient vital signs throughout the surgical experience. They are also responsible for conducting pre-operative assessments, providing post-anesthesia care, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and possess board certification in Anesthesiology. A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in anesthesiology with a focus on cardiac procedures and an active Michigan medical license are required.

In this role, you will be integral to our surgical team, responsible for administering anesthesia during cardiac procedures, monitoring patient vital signs, and ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical experience. Administer anesthesia for a variety of cardiac surgical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels accordingly Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient care Conduct pre-operative assessments and consultations Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology and cardiac care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures and care
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Anesthesiology 3+ years of experience in a clinical anesthesiology setting, with a focus on cardiac procedures Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthetic techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to patient safety and quality care Active medical license in the state of Michigan
