Description

This contract position requires an on-site presence and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of cardiology while working within a supportive healthcare environment.

As a Locum MD/DO, you will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care, diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions, and collaborating with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. This role is designed for those who are looking to enhance their clinical experience in a dynamic and challenging setting.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with cardiovascular diseases Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care Provide patient education on cardiovascular health and disease prevention Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Participate in ongoing professional development and training Assist in emergency procedures as needed

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license to practice in the state of New Hampshire Completion of an accredited residency program in Cardiology Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in cardiology Strong diagnostic and clinical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing compassionate patient care

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-5p

Call: 1:3-4 weeknight rotation and 1 weekend per month

Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Daily Volume: 14-16 patients

Will read echocardiograms & ECGs

Ability to perform TEEs and cardioversions is required

Support Staff: APPs & RNs

EMR: Epic

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
