The physician will interpret nuclear medicine imaging studies such as PET/CT and SPECT while administering radiopharmaceutical therapies. They are also responsible for collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care.
Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree and possess board certification in Nuclear Medicine. A valid, unrestricted U.S. medical license and U.S. citizenship or Green Card status are required.
Interpret nuclear medicine imaging studies and provide detailed reports. Administer therapeutic radiopharmaceutical treatments adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient care. Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and institutional policies. Maintain thorough documentation in electronic medical records.
M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school in any state. Board certification in Nuclear Medicine. Valid, unrestricted medical license to practice in the United States. Authorization as an Authorized User (AU) for therapeutic procedures preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
