About the role

The therapist will conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. They will also provide individual and group therapy while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and monitor progress.

We are currently seeking a friendly and skilled Therapist specializing in Co-Occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders to join our caring team.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health and substance use needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both mental health and substance use disorders. Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support client recovery and progress. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate care for clients. Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate clients and their families about co-occurring disorders and available resources. Participate in team meetings to discuss client care and share best practices with colleagues. Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. Valid state licensure as a mental health professional (LCSW, LPC, etc.). Experience working with clients who have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Experience with evidence-based practices for treating dual diagnoses. Experience collaborating effectively as part of a multidisciplinary care team. Experience providing direct client-facing therapy or behavioral health care. Eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field and possess valid state licensure. Experience in treating co-occurring disorders and a strong understanding of evidence-based practices are required.
