About the role

The Nurse Practitioner will perform hospital and ICU rounding, manage patient clinical care, and assess new consults in both clinic and hospital settings. They will work closely with cardiologists to provide multidimensional cardiac and peripheral vascular therapies.

Improving the Health of the People in the Communities We Serve Heart & Vascular Nurse Practitioner DALLAS, TEXAS Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full time opening for a Cardiovascular Acute Care/Adult Care Nurse Practitioner to join a team of leading diagnostic and interventional and non-interventional Cardiologists in Dallas, Texas. This is a great opportunity to work closely with board certified physicians who have a reputation for excellence in diagnosing and providing innovative treatments for cardiovascular diseases.

Position Details

Full time, 40 hours per week. Hospital rounding, ICU Rounding & clinical management of patients Electronic Medical Records Assess new consults in the clinic and hospital admissions Nuclear, Stress Tests, Echocardiogram all on site Take pride in offering a multidimensional approach to cardiac and peripheral vascular therapies Competitive Salary, plus comprehensive benefits package, CME, Malpractice & 401K Requirements Needed to Apply: Active Texas license Acute Care/Adult Care Board Certification and Experience Degree in NP studies from an approved Nurse Practitioner program 1-3 years of Cardiology experience preferred

Education Master's Degree Physician Assistant Req

Experience 1 Year As a Physician Assistant. Pref

Licenses and Certifications PA - Physician Assistant Must maintain board certification as required for licensure. Upon Hire Req

Skills Active listening and learning, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgment and decision making.

Supervision Individual Contributor: ADA Requirements Working Indoors 67%25 or more Mechanical Hazards 1-33%25 Electrical Hazards 1-33%25

OSHA Tasks involving exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.

Physical Demands Light Work

Requirements

Candidates must hold an active Texas license and be board certified in Acute Care or Adult Care. A Master's degree in NP studies and 1-3 years of cardiology experience are required.
