Registered Nurse RN Parttime Day Shift Surgery PreOp and PostOp Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Position Highlights Work location: 1301 Pennsylvania Ave Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work environment: Surgery PreOp/PostOp Work hours: Part Time Day Shift 24 hours weekly the Manager seeks recent ICU, PACU or ED exp in an adult population Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth is a 726-bed, Magnet-designated regional referral center that has served the residents of Tarrant County and surroundings communities since 1930.

Hospital services include cardiovascular care, high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics and sports medicine, neonatal intensive care, and trauma/emergency medicine.

In early 2014, Texas Health Fort Worth will be opening a new 75,000 square foot Emergency Services Center, one of the largest in the region.

Texas Health Fort Worth has more than 4,000 employees, 200 volunteers and nearly 1,000 physicians on its medical staff.

Texas Health Fort Worth recently received national recognition for its oncology program and was named “Best Place to Have a Baby” in Tarrant County.

Education Nursing Diploma Nursing Req Or Associate's Degree Nursing Req Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing Pref Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Req

Experience 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Req

Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Expiration date greater than 3 months preferred. 90 Days Req

Skills A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Requires a nursing diploma, associate, or bachelor's degree and at least one year of RN experience or completion of a residency. Must hold RN licensure and BCLS certification, with ACLS required within 90 days.
