The Sonographer utilizes high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques to produce and evaluate ultrasound images while performing various ultrasound procedures. This role also involves assessing and preparing patients of all ages, explaining procedures, and maintaining the cleanliness and supplies of examination rooms.
Candidates must be Registered in Diagnostic Ultrasound (RDMS) and possess an Associate's degree, preferably from an approved Sonography program. A minimum of one year of experience as a sonographer and Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification are also required.
