As a Program Clinic Nurse, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients. You will also engage with the community to promote mental health awareness and contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with graduation from a state-approved nursing school. Psychiatric nursing experience and a passion for working with older adults are preferred.
As a Program Clinic Nurse, you will focus on the 3Cs; Care, Community, and Compliance.
Collaborate with a small, interdisciplinary team, including a psychiatric physician, a social worker, and a CNA, to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients enrolled in the behavioral health program. This will be a mix of nurse responsibilities and office responsibilities.
Engage your local community to develop and deliver educational presentations, workshops, and seminars in the community to promote understanding and awareness of mental health issues and inform of the resources PMC can provide.
Contribute to the enhancement of the behavioral health program by providing insights and feedback on patient care processes, program development, and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and community outreach efforts.
Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of practice - required Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing - required Psychiatric Nursing experience – preferred. Passion for working with Older Adults - preferred.
