About the role

Provide hope, support, and guidance to individuals receiving services using lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and overall wellness.

Barry County Community Mental Health Authority is seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our peer support team!

In this role, you will use your lived experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery to provide hope, support, and guidance to individuals receiving services.

You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery, self-advocacy, and overall wellness.

Lived experience with mental health and/or co-occurring substance use recovery required.

A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required for this position.

We offer a four-day work week, flexible schedules, and an extensive benefit package.
