The Clinical Staff Pharmacist will manage medication use processes and assist in direct patient care within the CICU and Cardiology departments. Responsibilities include participating in multi-disciplinary rounds, monitoring drug therapy, and ensuring safe medication administration for patients.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a Pharm.D. degree, along with a valid Pharmacist license in the State of Texas. Preferred qualifications include an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or three years of clinical hospital pharmacy experience.
We are searching for a Clinical Staff Pharmacist for the CICU / Cardiology — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will manage and promote activities appropriate to ensure a safe and effective medication use process and assist in direct patient care activities to promote optimal drug therapy and resolve medication use problems in a manner developmentally appropriate for the ages of patients served (0-adult). Also, to perform a registered pharmacist's duties as defined by Hospital.
