Providing direct patient care by assessing patient health, performing physical examinations, obtaining health histories, and developing and implementing patient management plans.
Performing therapeutic procedures by administering injection, suturing, casting, splinting, removal of foreign bodies, managing wounds and infections, etc.
Provide patient education at time of service, including anticipatory guidance, information about chronic care, disease prevention, and the promotion of health maintenance.
Collaborates with Behavioral Health, Primary Care, and Dental Providers to encourage integrated health.

This position requires long periods of standing and walking, sitting at a computer, the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds, etc. Employees are exposed to blood, body fluids, and other occupational hazards, and are required to complete mandatory vaccines, such as Tdap, Hep A, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, and the yearly flu vaccine.
Candidates must hold an unrestricted Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine license in Colorado, along with DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certifications. At least 5 years of related experience is preferred, along with strong cultural sensitivity and the ability to work in a diverse community setting.
