The Patient Care Technician provides direct and indirect care to patients, including assistance with activities of daily living and physical comfort measures. They also monitor and record vital signs and patient data while maintaining a safe and clean environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. The role requires the ability to perform delegated nursing functions and adhere to hospital policies and State Board of Nursing rules.
