J61 and J63 are 24-bed cardiovascular telemetry units specializing in post–open heart, surgical, and ventricular assist device (VAD) patients.
These fast-paced units provide a high-acuity environment where nurses develop advanced skills while caring for patients undergoing procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), minimally invasive and robotic heart surgery, valve repair or replacement, and other complex cardiac interventions.
The units also manage conditions including myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, and device implantation or removal.
Nurses on J61 and J63 deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care through specialized teamwork and individualized education to support safe recovery and discharge.
The units offer strong opportunities for professional growth, hands-on experience with innovative treatments, and involvement in education and community outreach initiatives.
A caregiver in this position works rotating shifts| 7:00am—7:30pm or 7:00pm—7:30am.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN program) Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) One year of current acute care RN experience.
