Personal Care Aide

Hha/Cna – 4-Hour afternoon shift (Fort lauderdale, fl 33304)

Senior Helpers of Sunrise is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 4‑hour shift providing hands-on, compassionate care to a valued client in Sunrise.

• Shift responsibilities
• Safely operate a Hoyer lift to transfer client out of bed in preparation for bathing and hair washing
• Provide personal care, including bathing assistance, lotion application, and gentle massaging
• Assist client with dressing and grooming
• Meal preparation (simple, light meals)
• Light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, and laundry
• Maintain dignity, respect, and clear communication at all times
• Document care provided and report any changes in condition promptly

Requirements

• Active HHA or CNA certification (must be verifiable)
• Experience using a Hoyer lift (hands-on experience required)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly
• Must pass a Level 2 background check and drug test
• Professional, dependable, and able to follow care plans accurately
• Must be 18 years or older
