The Biological Scientist will provide essential laboratory support for the CDC Influenza Division, including specimen processing, shipment management, and reagent preparation. They will also assist with waste disposal and material transfers between facilities to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a life science field, with a preference for Biology, Molecular Biology, or Microbiology. Previous laboratory experience is highly desired, along with familiarity with laboratory safety regulations and data analysis tools.

What You’ll Do…
As a Biological Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Influenza Division of the CDC by providing laboratory support as sort of a Jack-of-all trades with various tasks. Your work will contribute to the development and assessment of diagnostic methods and vaccines to improve responses to potential outbreaks.
