The dental assistant will travel to various office locations to assist periodontists and general dentists with clinical procedures. They are also responsible for the setup, sterilization, and transport of dental instruments and supplies across different sites.
Candidates must meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements and hold a current CPR/BLS certification. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, mobile environment are required.
Schedule (days/hours)
Travel with the periodontist to assigned office locations (approximately 2 weeks per month) Set up, transport, and maintain dental instruments and clinical supplies Load and unload instruments and equipment at each location efficiently and safely Assist periodontist chairside during periodontal procedures Support general dentists and hygienists during non-periodontal weeks Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized, organized, and accounted for Maintain high standards of infection control and clinical readiness across all locations Collaborate with multiple teams across different office environments
Meet all state specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date) Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care
