Min $21.22 Mid $26.07 Max $30.92 Recruiter: Elke Janeway This 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period) Unit Secretary position follows a two-week rotating schedule: Week 1 includes Wednesday and Thursday shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and a Friday shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and Week 2 includes a Monday shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM plus Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
The Unit Secretary is responsible for the secretarial aspects of the nursing unit. She/he acts as a support person to the nursing staff and other members of the health care team for indirect aspects of patient care. This position functions as a pivotal communication link between the health care team, other departments and patients and families. EDUCATION: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: Previous employment in an office or health care environment. This is a bargaining union position.
