Provides direct technical nursing care and assists physicians, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses in assessing and planning patient care. Maintains a safe clinical environment and performs various diagnostic tests and medication administration under supervision.
Requires graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing or Certified Medical Assistant program with current Ohio licensure. Must maintain BCLS certification and demonstrate proficiency in clinical skills and office computer systems.
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, provides to individuals and groups nursing care requiring the application of basic knowledge of the biological, physical, behavioral, social and nursing sciences.
