The Nurse Practitioner provides general care to patients of all ages, including conducting tests and recording medical histories. They also assist physicians, provide treatments, and prescribe medications within their scope of practice.
Candidates must hold an MSN with an ARNP specialization and a current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse. A BLS certification and experience with electronic health records are also required.
Overview We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) at Riverview Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare in Gadsden, AL. The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. The NP must be Wound Care Certified WCC or WOCN for this role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories. Providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus: One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
