Provides clinical patient care under the direction of a physician, including taking medical histories and performing physical exams. Responsible for ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, making preliminary diagnoses, and treating minor injuries.
Requires graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program and certification from the National Commission on Certifications of Physician’s Assistants. Must hold CPR certification and complete applicable clearances within 90 days of employment.
Under the direction of a physician, provides clinical patient care such as taking medical histories,
performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and x‐rays, making preliminary diagnoses, treating minor injuries. Works in a Physician Practice / Office Environment.
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Certification from the National Commission on Certifications of Physician’s Assistants. CPR certification. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Previous office or clinical experience, ACLS certification.
