The LPN will assist physicians during endoscopy procedures and provide comprehensive care to patients from admission through discharge. They are responsible for monitoring patient conditions, maintaining accurate medical documentation, and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Candidates must be licensed as an LPN and demonstrate a strong desire to work as part of a team. The role requires the ability to handle tissue specimens accurately and provide comfort and reassurance to patients throughout the endoscopy process.
We are looking for an LPN that has a desire to be part of a team and grow in the nursing profession. You will proactively participate as a team member in support of the total endoscopy process. Admit and care for patients prior to their endoscopy procedure; explain plan of care to the patient; care for the patients and assist physicians during the endoscopy procedures; handle tissue specimens correctly and accurately according to policy and procedures; care for patients post procedure from recovery to discharge; monitor patient condition and maintain timely documentation.
Review medical records, provide continuity of care, collaborate with other members of the healthcare team; provide comfort and reassurance to patients; maintain patient's privacy and dignity.
