The Graduate Radiology Tech performs diagnostic radiology procedures under the supervision of a licensed preceptor while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities include preparing examination rooms, educating patients, and maintaining accurate records of procedures and equipment settings.
Applicants must have zero years of experience and be eligible for ARRT registration within 90 days of completion. A State of Tennessee license is required within thirty days of obtaining ARRT certification, along with knowledge of medical imaging procedures and radiation safety.

Graduate Radiology Tech will work under the supervision of their assigned licensed preceptor and is responsible for producing radiographs of the highest possible quality for medical diagnostic purposes, in an atmosphere that promotes high patient satisfaction. Set up and operate x-ray equipment, along with properly positioning the patient, to produce high quality diagnostic images in conjunction with the radiologists in the performance of diagnostic procedures.
Combination of walking, sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Occasional stress from balancing multiple tasks.
