What you'll Do
The Music Therapist collaborates with the IDT to implement a plan of care for patients, families and pediatrics, with the approval of the physician, utilizing music therapy
This position provides supportive social services and bereavement services as determined by the patient/family needs and the interdisciplinary Plan of Care.
Demonstrate a music performing proficiency and ability to create an effective therapeutic environment for Patient/Family.
Provide Music therapy and documents Patient/Family assessment, progress towards goals, applied interventions and clinical outcomes in the electronic medical record according to professional standards and Empath Health guidelines,
Attends memorial services of patients for closure and support of family when appropriate.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy and be a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC). A minimum of two years of paid experience is preferred, along with reliable transportation for field-based duties.
