The counselor provides substance abuse counseling services, including patient screening, comprehensive assessment, and the development of collaborative treatment plans. They are also responsible for case management, monitoring toxicology, and providing community education in accordance with regulatory standards.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and a CASAC certification. Experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness and substance abuse disorders in a treatment setting is required.
