The Medical Assistant works interdependently with healthcare professionals to provide quality care to ambulatory patients. They provide direct patient care in an office setting under the delegation of a provider.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant. Alternatively, completion of an approved Medical Assistant program is required.
